ISdAC signs agreement with NewLink Project in Lincoln

Picture of Jim Moody and Cilla Lamerton ( Newlink Project), together with Tony Verelst

On Friday the 11th of January 2002, the ISdAC chairman, Tony Verelst, has visited the NewLink Project in Lincoln.

This centre is one of the four other centres in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom. They are specialised in the development of high quality IT education and training for people with a disability, which makes them a valuable partner.

After a little tour in the centre by Jim Moody en Cilla Lamerton, they talked about the IRIS project. For this project ISdAC needs some users with learning disability in order to capture their requirements for an accessible internet. Because NewLink Project is an expert in the field of teaching people with learning disabilities, ISdAC was happy to sign an agreement for cooperation within the scope of the project. NewLink Project provided us with learning disabled users for the IRIS project, and coordinated a test in order to capture the User Requirement of this target group.
