Frequently Asked Questions - How will ISdAC be financed?

Initially ISdAC is actually working on a voluntary basis and had during 1998 financial support from the Periphera project.

We are investigating a variety of financing sources including:

• Other potential EC support sources;
• Contributions from industry;
• Contributions from private individuals;
• Contributions from Governments and institutions in EU Member States.

Suggestions for sources of financing will be very welcome. Beyond the start up phase ISdAC will produce a business case for substantive support from public funds and will also investigate the possibilities of a public appeal for funds.
